I got my H22a4 delivered to me today and was thinking about having the head ported,polished and a 3 angle valve job. I have a friend that does it and is REALLY good at it. Anyone have this done and how did it help? Thanks.

add crower or skunk2 cams and u'll have some wicked VTEC with a ported and polished head

I agree, different cams with ported a polished head will give you some very good gains. I am thinking about 10 to 15 extra ponies. I THINK depending on the job.

I think the H22A4 has bet. 195-200hp. Having the head ported,polished and a 3 angle valve job is a great idea since the motor is already out of the car. If you're going to do any motor mods, do them now. The only issue (really a non-issue) is that you won't be able to baseline dyno the stock H22A4 setup.
