In the latest Super Street you can get 17" Aerospeed wheels (they look tyte) for $599 w/ tires (205/40/17)

I would look into the quality of Aerospeed first though and what tires come in the package

I would grab a set of Ground Control's and Koni Yellows or Bilstein HD's or a set of true coilovers....

And a cat-back.

That should about be the $2,000 :)

for rims get: 12lb 15x6.5 or 16x6.5 rota slipstreams at modacar.com with Khumo tires for like 740.00, then you can get some Groound Controls for like under 300.00. the rest will get you a intake, exh.,and header.;)

5th gen probably has some miles on it, and it's a dx. Start pricing a swap. You don't have to get an H22 or anything way expensive. But for 2000, you are well on your way to a B16A. I wish I would have went that route. I have a 94 EX with 111K miles now and lots of mods but I'm still slow. :D However, rims, lowering and exhaust are very tempting....I know.

Whatever you choose good luck!:)

i agree on pricing a swap. i wouldn't get a single bolt on until i swapped it out if i were you. rims, coilovers, thats fine, but don't waste money on teh weak ass engine.

you can get a h23 block and completely build it up with performance parts. it will prolly cost around 2k. then u can sell your motor and use that money for whatever u want.

1. Swap - will net you WAY WAY WAY more power and driveability and steal and I/H/E.

OR.

2. Full coilover set, and wheels/tires. Say, some Rota's or Kosei's cuz they are cheap and good looking, and some Kumho's. For suspension, a Progress Auto full coilover system would be SWEET.

They have the best prices on wheel and tire sets. 17" will run you around a grand and then I would get intake, header, exhaust. Should put you around $2000.

I just got a grand and I am getting coilovers, z3 fenders, and spoiler.

SWAP B16A
Wait till ur next 2 grand to do the rims, suspention, etc.
Trust me, if I had all the money I had in the first place and spent on all that crap that gave me 2 extra HP, I woulda thrown in some extra dough and did a swap.

Swap first -----------> then bolt ons.
Enigine First --------> then cosmetics.

I know everyone is b16 this, b16 that. But I come from a diffrent light, my path for you is a d16y8 ot of a 6th gen Ex, it will run you in the lines of $800-1200. I know you won't be a speed demon out of the box, but that engine holds unlimited possibilities. Than you save up some money and you can turbo it with an intercooler for around $2000, and that will give you 14 sec runs. then you can start to build it up and some day you could have a SOHC in the 11's.
