340 hp, 6 speed box, 3 puck disc, 1.9l G60 with a ported 16v head, Je pistons, eight injectors, tec 2 engine management, water to air intercooler, built 90mm G-lader, huge solid lifter cams, 8,ooo+redline and a whole lot more..........I'm estimating low 12's. Will take to track next month.

oh wow!!! a turbo aint shiet. by april i got somethin for u. all u can hear is my vtec pop...and imma be gone.

ALL MOTOR
haha, there is no way a built n/a motor could touch the horsepower potential of a force fed motor.
I don't know about the actual horsepower potential... But they can definitely run equal times. It wouldn't be my choice to go for an all-motor drag car. I'm just trying to prove you can hit 12's on this motor in all-motor form. By winter time it will be boosted. My goal is just to have an 11 second ride...
Hey danmakG60, Didn't you have a different car earlier in the post... What's the deal?

this is true to some extent... a built N/A motor in a stripped civic (about 2000lb) could get the same time as a 3500lb built Supra turbo.
built B16 or even H22 ~ 220whp (maybe)
turbo that same motor ~ wayyy more than 220whp
I know the potential of a turbocharged motor... I used to have a turbocharged '93 prelude si... On 11lbs i was hittin' 272 horses and 213lb-ft of tq. All i had was a thicker headgasket, Block Gaurd and a lot of tuning... I know my way around a turbocharged car but you don't see a 12 second all-motor honda everyday... That's the reason i'm doing all-motor. That's the reason people do all-motor. It's nice to be the underdog sometimes... I know when i had the Prelude i was expected to run 12's. And then when i'd have a bad pass or something would break (as turbo cars pushin' decent power usually do) people would get to talkin' about how that's sux, "His car's slow for turbo..." Then when i'd make a 12 sec. pass they'd say, "Oh, well it's turbocharged, he should be runnin' that fast!"

With this car i wanted to prove to people it could be done without forced induction. Believe me, it WILL be turbocharged and it WILL hit 11's... I could do it with an all-motor car. I just don't have the time and patience and yes, the know how to hit an "11 second daily driven all-motor car" pass...

i'm not trying to start an argument, my original post was aimed at unidextrous and his statement about turbo being shit and his vtec was going to be poppin and shite.
Neither am i... i'm just tryin' tah "school you to some game young'n":p... Just wanted to let you know turbo ain't the only way to get a crazy time. That's all...:D
school schmool :p

it's easier and cheaper to get fast times with a turbo

it's harder and more respectable to do the same all motor
my comments were directed toward ludeaction...and i wasnt doggin on turbo cars. my friend is running a turbo b20 in his hatch and i love driving it. i do believe hatches like mine have the potentail to make the fast times, without all the power potential ur talkin about. i know a guy w/ a white hatch w/ a stroked gsr running consistent mid 11's. he is daily driven and smoke the shiet out of everybody. i think he dynoed at around 250 whp....and im not to sure on the torque. that shows that u dont need all that much hp to get a civic fast. and if ur wondering....he only gutted the rear. sure u can always slap a turbo on ur car..but can u ever get the power on the road?? traction is the main issue these days w/ hondas....and if ur not sportin the slicks or wheelie bars everyday than all that power w/ ur turbo is wasted.

like ben95 ex said..its easy to make a fast car when u turbocharge it....but more respectable all motor. even though i like turbo cars, i would never turbo my car. it takes a lot more skill to make an N/A motor work.

Yo, i like where you comin' from UNIDEX... I too like all-motor, but my first love is turbo! Can't stop goin' back... I just wanna show fools that it don't take boost to hit 12's. After that it's off to 11's... ;) hehehehe...
what the hell is this post about a bunch of kids arguing over stupid shit , lol what ever
Kids?:D
