Now that I finally have dough to drop my car what are some good suspension setups?



I won't splurge but I won't go cheap either...

Yep that's what I'm running too, I got them for $163 shipped from tirerack.com

Been riding on stock shocks for two years now, they haven't blow persay, but I can feel them starting to wear out.

so you think I am just better off with springs?

??? You should get Shocks as well.

A very popular combo is KYB AGX shocks with H&R sports...I have it and my car handles like it's on rails but the ride is very very smooth.

no I'm just saying you don't have to get both of them right away, depending on the condition of your stocks now, the stories of people blowing there shocks five minutes after installing the springs are greatly over exagerated.

u should get shocks, trust me it's a whole of a world of difference, unless u don't mind a bouncy ride, but i think u said u saved up enuff for both now?

I'm looking at these Tokico or Tein setups...

I would say the tein n1 aluminum I think it is only $2220 for the whole kit and its all electrical :clap :hehe But yeah go with what every1 else is saying i need to start on my homework

how do you want it to ride?
do you autox or road race often? drag racing? is it a daily driven car?
do you live in an area where the roads are messed?

it's a daily driven car...but I do want a smooth ride but with good handling

I would go with springs cause they ride so much better than coilovers. and i have dropzone struts and my ebay coilovers still make my car ride stiff as hell. if i can find a nice spring that will drop me alot i will get them...
