Idle problems with Crower 403's...

1150 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  BadAssGSR
Today it has been really hot where I live and I was driving my car and it died quite a lot. Like puttering around a parking lot, as soon as I put the clutch in it would die. Would some new plug wires help it idle better? The guy who put in my cams said my spark plugs looked fine.

Should I turn up my idle? What would be the side effects of this? Would it run richer? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Try playing w/ your cam gears.
Maybe you're running too rich at idle. Try to get a Fuel Pressure Regulator and lower the psi or get a even better Apex-i S-AFC to lean out the idle and tune the car.
