my friend has an 89 civic si and he just install clutch master aluminum flywheel and now the car has a surging idle problem. does any have the same problem and what did you do to fix it?

check the map sensor and any disconnect electrical wires etc. that could lead to tthe problem.

a friend has a 90 integra and the same problem happend to him when he installed his clutch

stupid question, what's an idle surge?? i've never heard that term before.

My cams make my idle do this every once in a while. It goes from 1000 to 1500 rpm, up and down. Try turning down the idle. There is a screw on the throttle body. Turn it to the right a little bit...
