I'm not advertising, and I don't mean to spam at all. You guys have a sweet site, I was just offering NC/SC guys another place to chill and get up to date on local events.

I don't see anything wrong with this action.

besides there are rules in place about advertising without permission and most of the time when people start a screenname and their first post is advertising another forum it will get them banned unless they got permission from Mike_Sho first which I am reasonably sure you didn't since you

personally I would never be a member of a site that had to troll other sites to boost up their membership.

Good luck with your forum, I won't be joining because you felt the need to pm me with an ad for it...
