Ahh, shit, ignition switch finally went out for good, had to hotwire my damn car just to get home. What I want to know is, How the hell do you get the ignition switch off the damn steering column? Theres the two bolts or what look like bolts that hold it down to the steering column. Do i have to drill into them or something? If I do, Where would i get new ones and how would i get them to keep everything together?

OKAY THIS MAY BE LATE BUT FOR FUTURE REFERANCE THOSE TWO BOLTS ARE BRAKE AWAY BOLTS. IT IS AN ANTI-THEFT THING. YOU HAVE TO GET THEM FROM THE DEALERSHIP. THE BOLTS COME WITH A HEAD ON THEM FOR A SOCKET. WHILE TIGHTENING THEM DOWN THE HEAD SNAPS OFF LEAVING ONLY THE BOTTOM OF THE BOLT. TO GET THEM OUT YOU HAVE TO GET A PUNCH AND A HAMMER AND HIT IT IN A LEFT SPIRAL MOTION. :w00t
