I have time warner cable (road runner) and we just got our download rate upped' from 360 KB/s to 600 KB/s and that's pretty good for the basic cable internet... and I was curious what everyone else has, the link below tests your download bandwidth, and the second tests the upload bandwidth, post both so I can see what you all have.

Holy crap that's like 8MB/s... what internet service do you have, like a T1 line to your house or something? lol :wow :bow

A T1 line is only 1Mb - 1.5Mb if you have a provider that sets you up. Sadly cable internet actually runs faster than T-1's nowadays. The only difference is with a T1 its more reliable and you get an IP block

im at work now and im only pulling a SLOW download cause im on a lan with everyone and their monkey going through it. it's almost like only 356k down

i have a satellite connection :) where that was tested... but i can only get on certain networks to get speeds that fast

at home i have a 56k that runs at 26.4 :mad
at work i use cable that runs at 100mbps+
