I think Del Sols look soooo badass, and sound like they are pretty fast (never actually driven one) But 160hp on that small a car... zoom zoom! Just figured Id share my pain and anxiousness. turn 16 in less than a month!! ahhh

Man here I am complaining that I cannot find a VTEC sol with right miles, color, non-salvaged, etc. when I should be lucky to be able to have a huge market of them.
I am from Southern CA, and there is currently around 100 del sols for sale in a 75 mile radius. Not to brag or put you down or anything.
Where did you look? Try www.autotrader.com it will find a bunch for you I hope.

Don´t mind what other people say; the important thing is that you like it, and yes there is a lot of sol haters out there, they say it´s a girlie car or a small slow two seater but with the proper mods it could reach extreme limits of speed.
If you´re gonna get a sol, try and find the VTEC ones or Si, don´t get an S (not there is something wrong with this model but you´re gonna get your ass kicked by Yugos hahaha).

if people make fun of your car don't be upset, take it as a compliment, their just mad that 30 kids in their city have the same color accord as them... even stock your del sol will set you apart from the rest, do a mod or two and its nearly one of a kind, can't say that about pretty much any other honda

You will have money left over to do what you want with it.
1.5 is qucik enough to start out with
DOHC 1.6 has NO TORQUE WHATSOEVER ...get a ls, gsr or h22a.

But know, i have a B16A3 V-tec with 200hp tee hee hee. After the turbo kit, im going to strap a sticker on the back that says V-8 killer.

Find and S like said and drop a JDM H22 with some aggressive cams board intake and high flow exhaust you'll be running 215+HP

yea yea yea, its nice and powerful. but you lose all cornering attributes with an h22 b/c its so damn big. go with a lighter B16 or B18satanracing said:
