heres a pic of my car a few months ago in the cold with the stock rims and tires and dirty paint.....but other than that what do you see wrong with this picture.

i got some maxspeed coilovers, and stock struts on the front and tokico illuminas on the rear.
anyway, first of all when i got the coilovers installed, the front of the car was lowered a bit (all 4 coilovers were at the lowest setting) but not quite enough, and the rear had hella fender gap and the spring wasn't tight at all.

and the other day i blew out a rear passenger side tokico when i was jacking my car to swap rims. i heard a hissing sound and when i jacked up the front passenger side to take the wheel off the rear wheel was in the air. i was like, what the fuck.

so i need to know what kind of shocks would make my suspension nice and tight and give me the drop im looking for. i want to have the fender right in line with the top of the tire all the way around.

i want it to look kinda like this photoshoped summer pic:

HELP!!!!!!

Holy $hit that top pic looks crazy!!

Bottom pic is nice though

I think you may have f**ked up by mixing the shocks
I don't understand how you have the coilovers all the way down and still have "hella gaps" in the rear.

Anyhow, I plant to stick with my Bilstein HD's when I get the GC's. I would check into Koni Yellows since a lot of people seem to be happy with them as well.

tokico blues werent made to withstand the spring rates that crap ass coilover sleeves have....hence why the shock blew.
i dont have tokico blues on the rear i have illuminas.

but either way, a performance shock no matter what its for should be able to stand up to coilovers on a 2100lb car
