Better spray pattern, finer mist, better atomization. Lucas disc injectors tend to create large blobs of fuel instead of a fine mist. As you probably already know, a fine mist of liquid vapour tends to light up a lot better than a puddle. (That's why, if you want water injection, you have to use the Aquamist/Jackson system and not just some random nozzle spraying water into your intake manifold.) If you go look on just about any stock car, forced induction or not, you'll notice that none of them use Lucas disc injectors as OEM equipment. They all use pintle for a reason...GreekSpeed said:whats so good about pintal style injectors?
