Installing AEM intake quick question

Can someone point me to what the other hole is for on my aem intake? I drive a Civic 00' Ex. And I read the instructions but only know of what 2 of the 3 holes do. One is for the vaccum hose, One is for the sensor. but what about the 3rd one? Did I get a wrong intake for my car?

hmmm, the only holes I know that are supposed to exist are for the two you mentioned. I am unfimiliar with a third:confused:
cold air intake

mine had the same three holes. the one on the left is for the vaccum line and the middle is for the sensor and the left on i went to the hardware store and bought a plug and plugged it up, ran fine and helped alot topend

I'm afraid I would be giving AEM a call to explain. I wouldn't want to plug something that has a purpose. You may be losing what little horsies you gain and don't even realize it. I'm not saying that they won't just say, 'plug it'. But if they manufactured it that way.....? I would call.

The last plug is not uded for anything. My intake which is not AEm also has 3 plugs and I was told to plug one up.
Just plug it and enjoy.
:D
Looks good to me...As long as the thing plugging the hole cant get sucked in eventually. It's all good. :D

lol, that would suck
I believe it is for NOS.
Plug it, you'll be fine.

The third one is the O.E. PCV breather pipe that goes to the back of the intake manifold. If you look at your stock intake it also has three holes also. These will line up perfectly with your AEM.

The third hole only came in the 99-00 EXs. The rest of them (96-98) only have two. Unlike the others this is a pipe not a hose and it is made out of metal. Look at your stock intake, you'll see them.
SpongeBob - So I don't block the last hole up. I stick the O.E PCV pipe to it. Right?
yup !!
thats what I did. i have never had a problem. The way I see it, if it is there is for a reason, and if it can be used why not use it?
spongebob - anyway you can take a pic of your intake for my reference?
You da man spongebob square pants. Thankx.
So just to make sure, 96-98 AEM CAIs only have two holes?
