installing car monitor into my civic: help

I'm planning to install my flip down monitor into my civic, only problem is that i can't figure out how it's going to be hooked up. The only wire I got with it was a wire that looks like an s-video wire but isn't a s-video wire. It has 8 pins inside of it. Does anyone know where this is to be hooked up to?

now im not positive, but on most of them they have 1 wire going into them, you connect another peice into that connection and from there it has red and white cables and a yellow cable, plus power and ground. it sound almost like your missing a cable
