A buddy and me were going through some of his parts and we came across an instrument cluster for his mx6. I started thinking about how my civic dx didn't come with a tachometer. I went to a wrecking yard and the only clusters with tachometers were automatics. I know that they do exist nut I am curious if you changed the back plate from the automatic to a manual if it would work or if it isn't that simple. Here is what I mean. The only visible difference that I see is the P-R-N-D4-D3-2-1 and unless there is a difference in the electronics it should work. Just install a new back plate and pull the bulbs for the gear selection display.
