Well I just installed my air intake. But I can't figure out for the life of me, how to install the mounting bracket (so the intake isn't just supported from the throttle body). I need some help on this. Pics or diagrams would be great. Websites will help greatly to. Thanks.

the one end screws into the frame, there should be a hole for the thread already if you've taken out the resonator and airbox. Then you place the intake on it and put the washer on and then begin tightening the bolt. it's gonna seem like it isn't doing anything and that the rubber grommet is just twisting but it is tightening it take a little longer than you would think to tighten it but it will get there. post up if you have any more questions.

While we're on the subject of this mounting bracket, I've a question...

It's too late for me to go out and pop the hood so I can take a picture, but I may have a slight problem. I can move the intake the slightest bit (literally a few millimeters back and forth, if that.) I don't think I've properly installed the mounting bracket. The edge of the screw that's inserted into the hole in the car's frame, is it supposed to go ALL the way down into the hole, so the fat rubber washer is actually touching the frame? See, I thought this was so through common sense, but a friend of mine (who also has an AEM CAI) had his professionally installed, and I believe he claims his screw doesn't go completely through the hole, either.

So, should I go out there tomorrow and force the bitch down? :p (for reference, it's already in quite far. There's about a 1/4" gap between the car frame and the rubber piece.)
