this maybe a retarded question but i was thinking about when we put a skunk2 IM on my brothers gsr. The stock IM had butterflies (little spinny things) on the inside, i haven't taken of my IM off on my B18b1 but my question is. Would removing any of the crap on the inside of the IM make any difference at all.

to answer ur question, the gsr has a dual staged runners in the IM. if u check out the first sticky, and look up > LS/VTEC, scroll down and u will see a pic of the IM for a gsr on top and a type R right below it. ur LS IM won't have any "butterflies," but if u want a more efficient IM, i would suggest match porting ur current TB & IM, or just buy aftermarket. its up 2 you and ur budget.
