my word. (LMAO @ hemp_style)

hey that looks like New York City, i can tell by the bus sign. do you know where abouts?
the driver of the teg must not have been very good, ive raced an se-r b4 and won...
Alex
its not like they dont have mods for older se-R's
DAMN!!!! NYC it is.... I use to own a 2k GS-R Just like that one...and i also lost to a Sentra SE-R just like that one....Im trying to figure out if that is me racing....Hmmmm....Maybe not....Damn what the hell is it with those older SE-R's?!!! They must be lighter or something cuz they only come with 140hp's from factory....They have 2.0 displacement and lots of torque for the weight....they also redline at 7k which is kinda high for not having VTEC....I consider my self a very good driver considering i made the quater mile at 14.9 at Englishtown in my GS-R but he still beat me twice on a street race....dont sleep on those sentras they are also quick on the highway cuz the same guy kept up with me on top end and top speed....

Exactly. To elaborate, the 1G & 2G SR20DE motor in the the Sentra/200SX/NX2000/G20 can support up to 700hp with STOCK internals. Translation: You can bolt on a turbo, crank it up to 15+psi and NOT need things like Gude Cams, Crower Rods/Valves, etc,...

While stock they're a little bit slower than a stock GSR 5sp, they do have more power potential.
THANK YOU F23A4 for sticking up 4 nissan!!!!

what, are you stupid?!? you think that every B14 se-r is justy as fast as the next, and theres no mods for them so they're all the same stock output?!? and every B14 se-r drivers are all equally skilled?? i own a 97 B14 se-r and pulled a 15.4 at 90. that's not fast. but thats on stock tires, full int (spare, jack, and all) w/ only my 92 nx2000 intake cam, advanced timing, and a filter. and all B13 chassis' (91-94 sentra se-r's and 91-93 NX2K) redline @ 7500 rpm. B14 se-r's R/l @ 7100 due to stricter emmisions controlls.

peace
some one hand me a shovel. i cannot belive this bs. i ahve to give props to the nissan . but the guy who ever he is in the integra cannot drive. sorry to say that.
hehe... I wonder what that Sentra had under the hood. I've beaten 2002 SE-Rs pretty easily and to see this SE-R beat that Integra is impressive.
A few SR20DE car specs (stock 91-94 Sentra SE-R)

Model Code: B13
Engine Code: SR20DE
Horse Power: 140 @ 6400rpm
Torque: 132 lb/ft @ 4800rpm
RPM limited at 7500rpm (200SX SE-R is limited to 7100rpm)
Displacement: 1998cc
Compression: 9.5:1
0-60mph: approx. 7.6 to 8.3 seconds (R&T,MT,C&D)
1/4mile: approx. 15.8 seconds (R&T,MT,C&D)
Weight distribution: 62/38
Brakes: 9.8" vented disks front 9.1" solid disks rear

Weight: 2450lb This measurement was taken with approx. 3 gallons of gas, no AC installed, no cruise, no sunroof, spare tire in trunk, F&R Suspension Techniques swaybars Eibach springs, 195/60VR14s Michelin MXV4s on stock rims on a 92 model SE-R. This is basically The Mule.

Stock Rim Weight: approx. 17lb

Sounds like GS-R rivalry to me....plus a bulletproof bottom end....very tunable car specially for turbo....a lot of performance parts available....impressive for being Ten years old....Dont sleep on the SE-R
I got beaten by one of them B4 but I still wouldnt buy one....I love my 2k GS-R....Its so much HOTTER!!!
See less See more
yeah that was a pretty bad launch....he sucks ...

700hp on stock internal that's kinda hard to believe... why aren't more people using this engine as opposed to b18s and b16s. just curious.

uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh........
sr20's are one of the most popular engines out of japan.
700 hp's is a little hard to believe, but they are very strong internally.... ive seen 300+ with 15psi's. Thats more like it....

but B-series engines are still more popular than the SR20 in the US... But overseas is a different story....

You don't have to have vtec to have a high redline.
