i was wondering. i have an intercooler from an older audi, and it has some screwy inlet, and out let positions, i am thinking of installing it on top of my throttle body, kinda like a WRX set up. I know that there is a high pressure area where the hood intersects with the wind shield, so it should get plenty of air. I know it wont get as much air as a front mounted one, but it will look trick, and with the right ducting work, it should be almost as efficent as a front mounted one. Just a thought. I think the reduction in plumbing, and reduced distance the air compressed has to travel cant be a bad thing. Just wondering what you guys thought, please feel free to poke my ideal full of holes,,,,,,,,:D :D :D :D

seams to me it would just heat soak considering it will be sitting right there behind the engine... this is why most people that drive factory turbod' cars upgrade to a FMIC...
