just becarful w/ that vinal spray, cause i had that in my old sol, and it started to peel really bad...like the custom gauges!!!

RMdelsol94: With the vinyl spray it started pealing? What about the vents, I think you use a different paint right? Does that stuff last or what is the best way to paint these?

first off thanks all for the commemts!

and to answer your questions it is all done in vinal spray paint,it should hold up really good if you prep it right, the vents i did not paint they were already black

also i order a b16a1 sir2 and that should be in, in a week or to so as soon as i get that bad boy in i will post pics of that too thanks again for the positive comments

well

my interior vinal spray was good for about 2 months, then from people resting there arms on the door part, it started to wear off. It was prepped good, its just its eventually gonna wear off, considering its not Dye. As for the vents, you do use something differnet. Acutally i think i just regualar spray, but it turns out fine, just clear coat it!!.....

SEM is a professional grade vinyl paint that actually seaps into the vinyl. It is pretty well known. THis couldn't haven been what you used when it peeled off was it? I doubt that. I have a source for the SEM vinyl sray for $5.89 a can. was going to try it on my car eventually.

my mom always said base coat clear coat vinyl spray never hold up but on the other hand regular automotive basecoat clear coat does wonders trust me on that i paint on the side it will wear like the paint on your car "which means strong as shit" and shine like a babies bottom

hey, what is the name of that vynl spray you used, is that all you used was a can of red spray? or did you like get a clear coat, then go over it in red, then go over it in clear again?

got a url where i can buy that very same vynl spray... ill probably get a diff color but thats coo looks great!!

i had a friend of mine cut for my gauges so i have no pics

and i will see if i can find a link for the vinal spray i bought it at a local paint store
