i think somethings wrong with my b16a2 in my si because i race a gs-r on the freeway and he only have an intake and headers. i have skunk2 cams and sprockets, headers, exgaust, clutch, and right when i shift to 5th gear he just left me. i mean he was gone!!!!!!! should that suppose to happen? is it just because of the b16a tranny?
when i shift to 5th gear it seems like my car wasnt accelerating anymore. i mean it was slow. i couldnt believe it because he just blew rite by me when i did that. have that happen to any si with a b16a2 before?

First of all, the Si tranny is hands down awesome when it’s matched up with the B16a. To get power out of the B16a you have to rev the hell out of it, and that's exactly what the tranny allows you to do.

Second, you have to understand something...Just putting mods on your car (short of bolt ons) isn't going to do much for gains. In fact it may even hurt performance without proper tuning.

When you add mods such as cams, and cam gears you MUST get your car dyno tuned properly.
With the mods you have GS-R’s should not be smoking you like you say it did.

Do your self a favor, save some money, get a Apexi VAFC, and get the thing dyno tuned. Then go race that GS-R!!!
