That if you put in wilder cams or port your head that you will
get less performance out of a blower rather than just leaving it stock. If so,What can you do to your engine to get maximum power out of it besides lowering compression? Bare with me I'm new.

Okay, this varies by motor and by how much boost you are running, but yea, there are differences between an ideal NA cam and an ideal boost cam.

To oversimplify:

A radical NA cam probably has very high lift, long duration and a fair amount to a lot of overlap.

A boost cam is more likely to have moderate lift, moderate duration and much less overlap.
