Is the USDM Type-R header the same as the USDM GS-R header?

Yes a type R head will fit on a GSR. You can also put it on an LS with a bit of work.
There is a big difference betwen the heads. The Type R head is proted differently. Also the cams are very different. There is a lot more lift with the Type R cams.

Thanks for the reply guys, here's the real question....WIll the USDM Type-R header fit on my Civic SI ('99-'00) and if so, I suppose I shouldn't expect some mucho gains right?

get jdm header you won't be dissappoint wit hp gain..

THe USDM ITR and USDM GS-R header is almost the same. Very small difference near the collector. Just get a JDM ITR header or a JDM DC 4-1.
