I have a 95 Integra 3 door special edition. I was putting new interior pieces from a 98 Integra RS into my car. everything seemed to be going well untill I noticed that the rear panels that stretch from the hatch area into the back seat had a portion of them missing on the bottom closest to the floor in the back seat. it looks like they curve a bit as to where my originals were straight along with the floor. Has anybody come across this before? And Could it be because I am still using my 95 back seat with a 98 panel??? any help would be great. thanks!!!

I *think* I know what you're talking about... and if I'm thinking of the right thing, it might be because of the side-impact reinforcement. I believe it was in '96 that they started putting a huge black brace across the edge of the rear seats (if you take the seats themselves out), it's just a hunk of black metal that wraps around the seat base edge at a 90 degree angle. I think it was to meet the '96 federal side impact regulation. So that might be why... but I may be thinking of something entirely different from what you're dealing with.
