I have been strongly considering an A'pexi VAFC, but I've been reading a little bit about the new Jackson racing VTEC controller. I guess it connects directly to the ECU and instead of the controller switching the car over to VTEC, the controller tells the ECU to switch to VTEC allowing the computer to do all the air/fuel corrections itself. Now I don't know much about VTEC controllers, is this how most others work? Does this sound like a good VTEC controller? I just don't know if I would trust myself or anyone in the area to tune the VAFC. Plus I don't have the money for a long dyno tune......however I do need to get my cams tuned. Would you guys consider this a reasonable alternative?
