8 or 9 psi would definetely get you into the 13's on the jrsc...

You don' need good tuning with a JRSC. If you don't want to run more boost you need to buy better aftermarket parts. No DC headers, no OBX mufflers, just the good stuff. If you're running more boost just beware of hot days. Spend the extra dough (you would have on a better header) and get the water injection kit.

there's plenty of things that you can do to the engine besides upgrading the boost...

headwork (port n' polish)
go w/ the dc jdm header, if not that, try n' get the jdm itr header. Get a nice 2.5 cat back. Skunk2 intake manifold, 70 mm tb, lightweight valvetrain to increase the revs, some lightweight rims n' sticky tires( 205/50/15 would be good)...that should be enough to get you into the mid to high 13's.

I don't want to come off like a jerk but... don't offer bad advice. If he's running a Jackson Racing supercharger where is he going to put the Skunk2 intake manifold? Also, lightening your valvetrain doesn't increase your revs, it does nothing of the sort! That's what an ECU does. An upgraded valvetrain allows you to safely rev past the stock revlimiter, after you've had an ECU upgrade. But revving that high with a SC can be certain death. Don't try to look like a hero, you might come out looking like an ass.

i'm sorry...i was talking about going NA rather than SC. I've always been an NA person. But yeah, you say you're not trying to come across as a jerk? OK, first of all, dont question my knowledge about cars. I think i know a great deal more than most people out there. Ok ?
