has anyone got a JDM conversion thats sheet metal not fiberglass, if so how much did it cost with painting and install?

I got the OEM metal one. the kit ran about $3100 for the parts/shipping and another $2000 for the install.

If $2000 seems high it looks factory, when you pop the hood the radiator support looks like it came in the car.

Don't get the fiberglass.

I also wouldn't waste the money on the OEM HID.
spend about $700 less and get an aftermarket kit.

It depends on who you buy it through. Some companies will give you the option of having them paint it to match your color code prior to shipping. Other companies will ship it primer gray.

only two complaints.
never sent sidemarker lights and one of the fenders had a small dent in it.

$5000! I'm saying the samething but I highly doubt anyone of them every paid close to $5k.

With $5k, I can go turbo and have money left for rims, exhaust, and other mods.

I paid about $3000 for the parts non HID.

I agree $5000 is a lot but I wrecked my front end and the insurance was $5500.00 I only had to come up with another $2000 as a difference. my total bill was $7500 which included things like frame straitening, a new A/C condensor, Radiator etc...
