i just recently bought 1 jl audio 12 inch w6v2 and a jl 500/1. there are so many switches and knobs. does anyone else has this system that could show me how they put all there knobs and shit. thanks

what HU do you have cause that plays a big roll as to how you set your gains

what is HU? i bought a voltmeter and try to set it with that as the jl audio website says, but im not sure where to set the voltmeter and the numbers jump around a lot so its hard to get a accurate reading.

Setting your gains has alot to do with the pre amp output voltage and if you were to give me the product number I would find the voltage the RCA's put out and recomend some setting for you

when you use the volt metere you have to have a special cd to play. Look for a sine wave online and burn it to a cd.

So you bought all this high end gear to put in yourself and you don't know how to use it? Shoulda have had the shop set it up right.
