by the looks of it, dont look like anyone bigger than 3 feet tall can sit in your back seats with that. who actually sits in those back seats anyway, i always get someone else to drive. none of my friends will even sit back there! :p

Call Yasu @ 914-592-3990, Tell him Anton sent ya, He is a buddy of mine and a great guy. He and another friend of mine just raced his CTR at a NASA-X last weekend.

He is the American ATS and J's racing importer/distributor.

Heres the link to his site: http://www.a-t-s-usa.com/

Good luck,

A.

PS IO-port also makes a bar, here is a link to their site: http://www.ioportracing.com/ I Do know for a fact that their bar allows for the front and rear belts to be in tact.

why would you need to stiffen that part of the car? if flexing was a major concern at this point, you would end up with glass cracking, etc. imo its a marketing gimmick and a waste of money.

I see it and the IO port bar more as great mounting positions for the video camera and harness if you don't want or don't yet have a full cage.

As a stiffener?

A full cage would be better for sure for both stiffening and hardpoints

you would think since the Type R doesnt have a sunroof, it wont be that much stiffer but it is. so whatever  .
Don't even comapare the 2 with relation to chassis stiffness and rigidity.

I see your point but, you should see mine. Get a cage and you will more than make up for chassis sway without that bar which BTW is also combined with full caged cars for even More rigidity.

The bar is not close to the roof where the moonroof is. It is towqrd the rear of the car and assists in the rears twist and allows the Cars suspension to be used to it's fullest much like a Strut tower bar.

Why do you want this thing anyway?

Do you drive in a manner where you can actually tell that the car is twisting and affecting your times? Dollars to donuts you don't know "if" you want Oversteer or Understeer and or how to achieve it.

If so then you need a cage not a bar.

Nothing personal dude, but, the guy who imports it is a buddy of mine, and I'm NOT promoting it, He'd agree.

PS this J's bar crusade is amusing though... Did anyone even look at the IO port bar for 1/2 the price? HERE: http://www.ioportracing.com/

I want this piece because it would complete all my bars. It also looks nice. A cage would be a overkill for a street car.
