JUN vs SKUNK2 vs TODA

Hey guys , i own an ITR 96 JDM spec...
mods i ve done are a tanabe racing medallion excaust system, DC sports 4-1 headers, spoon LSD, spoon plugs & wires, aem underdrive pulleys, CUSKO clutch kit, spoon 70mm throttle body , AEM air intake, msd ignition, toda flywheel , aem big brake kit...etc....

Now i wanna go further with the big stuff..... that is NA.

I decided on JE high compression pistons, EAGLE rods...and i am in a big dilemma about what cams + cam gears + valvetrain to buy.. SKUNK2 STAGE III 's, JUN TYPE 3 's or TODA SPEC C 's..

i wanna buy the best cams for my car so i can get the best maximum performance in torque & hp..

i have studied specs of each cam and skunk2 stage III are more aggressive with JUN 3's coming next and toda C's third but these are just numbers and i dont know how these cams would perform with my engine..

whats your opinion about these three type of cams? which one can make more power on my car and why..?

Pls help me ..:))

Those cams are designed for different types of racing. I beleive the Skunk 2 is more of a drag racing cam and the Jun and Toda are more for track racing. What are you using the car for? Hopefully to autocross or road race so it can be put to good use.
Thanx skidtron89 for the reply....

I wanna set up the car mostly for road racing but i wanna take part to drag racing as well when a drag event comes up. Drag races in my country are organized about every 2 or 3 months.

Any ITR oweners that have JUN , TODA, SKUNK2 setups??
I wanna see whats your opinion ... how the camshafts perform on your car by terms of power and torque...

Thanks..
Are you sure you want stage 3 cams??? Are you serious into racing? I would just stick with something like Toda Spec B's. That is a common set-up and, imo, worth the money.

Actually I have JUN's whole engine with their stage 3 cams.....what's up.
Go to www.importreview.com they tested the jun cams and the toda and the jun made 3 or 4 more horses. Shops I have talked to have said that the skunk cams made for daily driven cars make 8 hp less than the juns. I have a JUN type 3 kit for sale if interested. brand new in the box. cams, springs, retainers.
Out of the 3 cams you mentioned, Jun stage 3 is the most streetable. I got it and my car idles like stock with just a bit more valvetrain noise. All three cams are meant for road racing I believe. Skunk stage 2's are comparable to Jun stage 3's. I consider the skunk stage 3's and toda c's unstreetable because of the harsh idle. The choice is up to you. One more thing, if you plan to get one of these big cams, I suggest you get rid of your dc 4-1 header and get the dc JDM 4-1, JDM 4-1 or any other 4-1 with a 2.5" collector
i heard about some complete engines from SKUNK2 and ERICKS RACING ....similar to engines used in sport compact racing. ERICKS RACING DRAG CIVIC COUPE and SKUNK2 DRAG INTEGRA .

What do you think about these engines? Do you know anythink about it? Both engines are close to 280 -300 BHP and installed properly and of course drag driven properly on a lightweight car thy can do 10 sec times .... (ALL MOTOR /NA)

I have contacted ERICKS RACING and SKUNK2 about more information and i am waiting fot their e-mail .
Any comments?
Is this going to a full race car or street car? Cuz those motors are running on fully gutted cars and fiberglass bodies which isn't streetable. 10's all motor have been done before but these guys are pro's and they have shops. I'm not saying you can't do it but I would be very hard to. You can't jus drop in cams and then run 10's. I know how hard it is. I used to think that running 12's all motor in my integra is pretty easy until I actually started working on the motor. Also you stated that you wanted to prep the motor for road racing and a little bit of drag. So I would suggest either going with Toda B's or C's or Jun stage 3's.
The JUN 3 are very close to our stage 2. Sometimes the stage2 makes more power, sometimes the JUN 3. I have Stage 3 cams on my daily driver h22/integra, and it idles around 1200rpms and i change valve springs every 3 months.
