hey,
bad news! i wrecked my lude!!! i wanted to cry! i took a a corner to narrow and when i tried to widen it out my back rim bit the curb pretty hard. the rim doesn't look cracked, it looks scratched up a little, but my brake pad is in pieces. i don't think i can drive it, and my dad is gonna get it towed. how much do u think its gonna cost? is my whole car ruined? i feel like shit!

You won't know for sure until it is apart, but you really smacked it hard if you actually debonded a brake pad. Now to the damage that you possibly have-how about various suspension pieces: control arms, upright/knuckle, ball joints and bearings.
A new rim for a Base goes for up to $350. To have yours repaired will be about $150, if that is possible-it really depends on how bad it is. I'll guess that the bill for this incident will be around $1000. I feel your pain. A minor accident can cost anywhere from $1000 to $4000 and that is for sheet metal damage.

now i really feel like shit! there's no body damage, except for the rim is scraped, but i have no clue what else is screwed up under there. my dad is soooo pissed, he thinks i was racing and lost control. how can i explain that a frontwheel drive car cannot fish tail like that? thanks for the help.

Dude i just wrecked my lude like a month ago and was about the same shit i just hit the sidewalk really bad since it was raining and did a 180 before hitting the curv , well so far it cost me about $1200 just the parts and all the labor was done by myself.
The new rim is gonna cost you around $350 regular price see if any shops around your area can find you one or look under any other honda site , i got mine for $160 used but almost new from the shop that repairs rims since mine wasnt repairable.

1200???? what all was wrong? i dont think im gonna need a new rim, just repair this one. is ur car drivable now? my brake pad blew into three peices and landed outside of my rim. how much is a new brake pad?
