Koni/neuspeed question

I've just installed the neuspeed koni's and neuspeed sport springs on my 5th gen sh. The front seems to be about 1" - 1.5" higher than the back. Is this normal? I thought the fronts were supposed to be lowered about a 1/4' more than the rear (1.75F & 1.5R)? I followed the intrsuctions by neuspeed and cut 1.5" off the rear bumpstop only and did not cut the fronts. I think it looks stupid like this. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what do you do? I have been thinking of cutting the front bumpstops about 1" and moving to the lowest perch setting on the koni's, but I don't want to mess anything up. I just put them on on Saturday, so I'm hoping the fronts settle a little more, but I don't think it will be that much... I don't know. I've got about 2-2.5 finger gap in front and a 1.5-2 finger gap in back. If anyone has any experience with this setup please let me know what the deal is with this.

Thanks,
g

try installing the perches upside down, meaning you probably had them the wrong way. They should be dished "down" on the shock so that it is abotu anther inch lower.
yea the only thing I could think of is that the C clip is in the wrong postion on either the front or rear shocks.
If it's not the perch setting on the Koni's then it could just be an illusion because the front wheel wells are larger than the back. Measure from the ground up to the bottom of the body of your car. Do this right behind the front tire and right infront of the back tire. Compare these numbers to see if something is up.
Right now I have both the front and rear perches set in the middle position. If I move the front ones down to their lowest position, would that cause a problem? The neuspeed koni's have 5 perch settings as opposed to the regular koni's which have 3. Each setting is a 1/4" apart, so the front will come down another 1/2". Do they (front and rear) have to be set at the same height or will this be ok?

Neuspeed Koni

I'm sorry, I know this is a random question for this thread, but what are Neuspeed Koni's? Thanks.
The neuspeed koni shocks have 5 perches while the basic koni's have 3 perch settings.
I have the sports and Bilstein HD's.

Ditching the springs just because what you speak of!!!!!!!!!

Except my front gap is only 1 loose finger larger than the rear.
It's really annoying, so I am going to yank them out and drop GC's in so I can tune the $hit myself.

I think you did something wrong though since the gap differencs is 1 1/2"

I could of sworn Neuspeed instructions said NOT to cut the bump stop. maybe it's different on your ride. I'm riding a 98 Civic. How about you?
But cutting the bumpstop won't effect how the car sits though.

I say take measurements of the distance from the ground and compare. That will tell you if something is really wrong.

If the gaps are 1" different then that is normal.

I can get 1 finger in the rear and 2 in the front. Ahhhhhh, fingering my car :D
The springs settled a bit, so now it's about an 1" diff. I'm problably gonna move the front perches to the last(lowest) setting, this will give me another 1/2" for the front. Anyone think there will be any negative effect when the front and rear perches are set at different heights? At the moment both are set in the middle position.

You would think with the shocks set to complete opposite stiffness that it would not be good, but not sure. Will it actually lower the car 1/2" by doing that though
Yeah it will lower it .5 inches. I would check to make sure all the parts are correct. Maybe you got the wrong springs. Check it out while you are in there.
