I have one better - real data (for the Civic, but your results should be similar). Email me if you want it and I'll get it to you (Its currently on an old computer.) Data is from Koni sales support.
With that drop, though, you have a good chance of blowing out an ilumina or AGX (certainly void the warranty). You may want to reconsider in the direction of Koni yellows or Bilstein HD's. (I'd say the Konis - they're adjustable and ride better than the HD's.)

yep he's right....neither the agx's or the illuminas are designed to handle that much of a drop. i believe the agx's warranty if void after 1.5" or 1.75"
if you have money for koni yellows get them otherwise get the bilstein hd's. good luck

i have gc coilovers with my kyb agxs. i never bothered measuring how much i actually dropped my car, but it was just enough to leave about 1/2 inch gap between the fender and tires...so i'm guessing somewhere between 1.5 and 2 inches. my kyb agx's blew after a year and a half. i am now swithching over to the bilstein hds.
as for agx or illuminas...i would not get the agxs (just from my experiences), but that's just me.

my shocks have been blown for so long that i don't remember what my ride was like before i blew them. what i do remember is that after i got bigger rims and lower profile tires, my ride was never the same, even with the stock suspension. it wasn't bad, i could just feel the road more, but that's expected since youre riding on a smaller cushion of air.paeaknoy615 said:
