ITs been talked about...just not in this particular forum. i know it's in sho's racing forum and other places around. but the accord is a family car and aftermarket parts to drastically reduce weight is not abundant. unless you have a racecar with a racecar budget, getting these custom made parts is pretty much out of reach for even the above average tuner.

i agree weight is the biggest enemy to any performance vehicle...but look at the accord. it's a porker even when it's stripped down. you'd have to do some major modifications to just the chassis to bring the weight down.

as for the unsprung weight....it seems that we've got in influx of n00bs who think chrome and 18"+ rims are the way to go :noo. yeah i had 18s on my accord, so i shouldn't really be talking...but that car was made for a mixture of both go and show. those who've seen it in person and played ps2 while i hit 11,000RPMs in it know what i'm talkin about :hehe

12k when it wasn't hot and humid. that knock just creeps in lmao...gas was still $1.55/gal for premium back then :cry

it was an h22....do a search on my build. i made power all the way up to 11k.
