Looking for a Honda 1.8L crate engine

Sup guys. I need help. I'm wanting to put a new crate engine in my 93 integra rs. I've found some from JG but I'm still looking. If you guys could hook me up with some sites where I could buy a crate engine that would handle a powerful turbo, plus give me around 300-400 HP without a turbo, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

crate engine

Sorry but I've never heard of a 1.8 crate engine that puts out 300-400 hp all motor. I don't think it's possible. You'd have to run a turbo or squeeze nos for that kinda power. The most I've ever heard of is like 260-270 hp in 1.8 gsr motor. This was naturally aspirated. That was fully built, and wasn't street legal.
um... sohfast.com sells engines... i dont know what you mean by crate engine
you aint getting 300-400hp out of a 4 cylinder honda motor without a turbo/supercharger/or nitrous.
What engine are you looking for specifically?

You had better do some more research before you start shelling out money. I would hate to have you end up with something you weren't expecting.
check out JG Engine Dynamics I'm not joking about an engine producing 300-400 hp all motor. They built a 1.8 to produce 760 crank HP (640WHP). It $5700. Atleast thats what I took it for. Thanks for responding to my post though.
www.importbuilders.com probobly has your best bet.

uhhh...no 4 cylinder honda can make that much HP all motor. those motors had turbo's.
Yeah, somethings up with that. And there is no way in hell they would sell a 760hp engine for 5700 dollars. Even if it was all motor it would cost way more than 5700 to build it. They would loose thousands of dollars on that deal.
Guys guys all they are selling is an engine that can handle that kinda HP. They dont actually make that until you do some crazy boostin
Talk to the guys at signal auto they have a chop top crx that runs mid 10's all motor no vtec with the use of toda power vtec killer cam shafts too bad its totally not streetable

still though, that motor has AT MOST 250-275hp at the wheels.....ive never seen dyno charts for it but i cant see it making much more than that in all motor trim. a lightened crx with that much power can certainly do 10's with the right suspension tuning...and i know signal knows how to do both.
I agree. There is no way it is making 300-400hp. You don't need 300hp to pull a lightened CRX 1320ft in 10 seconds.

Wasn't Jeff the guy that got kicked off here for advertising too much a long time ago?
Jeff was never kicked off. Mike asked him to tone down the advertising rhetoric. Only promoting the things you sell and putting down the things you don't sell is not exactly objective is it?

or do people want this sort of thing? I assumed you guys are smart enough not to want to be led like sheep from selective marketing of info....

BTW Jeff has toned it down over the years and is much better now...it's called growing up and becoming more mature...
Yeah I noticed he did tone down.

It was like: You should do this...by the way I sell it at fill in the blank.

He does good work like you said and has proof to back it up which is one thing we need to look for more often. All the time people are saying I hear this and I hear that. Well until I see the facts I am a disbeliever.
