to do it right, u need to buy any b-series vtec motor (the cheepest being the b16 like $1500) and swap the head on there, and take everything else like the water pump, oil pump, and i think some other stuff, and put it on there...

u could also do it buy just findiing a b-series vtec head ( ive seen em for as cheep as $650), and just using that.....

keep in mind there is some rewireing that needs to be done to the ecu,and modding to the engine, in order for it to run correctly..

i know a guy that has an ls/vtec 95 4door integra and he runs a 15.4 with full interior, and street tires....i believe all he has is an intake and exausht aside from the head swap.....

i would guess u could run a little faster since u are lighter by like 200lbs..........but it all depends on how u do it...
This all youll need:

LS/VTEC
the LS vtec thing sounds like a big thing of confusion , i read that its 2000 dollars to get it installed AND u cant just buy the head and that all u need , u have to buy a bunch of other parts to make it work , so the grand total amount would probably be a GSR engine i could just Buy instead , Please Post feedback on that

Your friend ran a 15.4 with LS/VTEC, intake and exhaust??!!

I ran a 15.6 my very first time on street tires with an LS with cams, cam gears and FPR that weren't dyno-tuned, a shitty intake (no resonators on stock pipe), and an exhaust. Also, an Integra hatch is only like 71 lbs. lighter than a sedan, not 200 lbs. 71 lbs will make maybe 0.1 sec. difference in the quarter.

yeah... he is a shitty driver......he could do a little better....

.........i was guessing on the weight
Ok good, I was hoping so. This guy at the track had an Integra hatch with a JDM ITR engine, JRSC, full bodykit, seats and everything, the car was fully pimped out and he ran a 14.4 best time. It's all about the driver. Okay, maybe not all.....:(
