Is it an LS VTEC swap or just the 1.8 DOHC either way tires are going to help exhaust maybe but how much extra weight is in your car like speaker ect. maybe a CAI.

Not much else unless u want to add some more mods like Turbo or SC or the VTEC

You actually could have gotten a better 1/4mile time if your tires were bald. You could have effectively used them as slicks and launched from a higher rpm. Thats what those big muscle cars do, they launch from redline cause they got those big ass slicks. But that actually sounds about right for just an LS motor, maybe a little lower (15.7...), but not much.

a guy at the track i goto ran 14.9's all day long in a 5thgen with ls,
all he had was exhaust header and intake, did you air down your tires?
or was wheel hop a major issue? if wheel hop was the problem
try engine mount inserts, or even better place racing or hasport
ploy engine mounts, they will help with the hopping off the line, i'm guessing your 60 foot times need a little work, work on getting a solid take off and no spinning, remember every tenth of
a second you take off the 60 foot time is 2 tenths off the 1/4mile
time
