Probably some stupid questions but i am so confused and i figured someone would be able to help me out here k I have a OBD0 B18a and Obd0 wiring harness the harness wont work on my 1999 civic ex but i was wondering if i could use the Obd1 harness and ecu along with the distributor out of and Obd1 car.Would that take care of my wiring hassles or do i need more? thanks for all the help.. AJ :mad THE ONE WIRE THAT WONT WORK HOOKS UP OVER IN FRONT OF THE DRIVERS SIDE AND I DONT WANNA REPLACE THAT HARNESS TOO.THANKS

Hey thanks for all the help but if anyone can help me out here i changed the hole idea i now have a 1996 Ls obd2a and i have the same simple question what is that plug on the drivers side and to do this swap to have to splice wires or what?thanks aj

just get whatever year your civic is an use a dx wirin harness since it is non vtec it should hook right up.
