Hi.

I´m in process to buy a ´93 Prelude Si (2WS).
What do yuo think about this car?
2WS..... it´s fine or causes many problems?
Tell anything you think :)
I see some 92 models but all are S, here the 4th Gen Si and the V-TEC models are very rare, only 5th Gen, but are $$$$$$$$$$$

Need help to make my choise.
Thanks.

PD: all the cars are manual, not auto :)

Find a 4th gen VTEC. Might take a little time, but the patience will pay off i gaurantee it. Why settle for less than the best? I'm not hating on the h23ers out there, I am just saying that a lot people that have Prelude Si's end up swapping their motor with a VTEC. My advice is to be patient, and keep searching.

peace

ps, how much are they selling the si for?

i agree...the H22 is arguably the most potent engine honda makes...thats why its swapped into a lot of import drag cars and shit...

BUT if you dont have the money then the SI lude is still a great car....its not as fast in a straight line but it will handle/look the same. good luck with your decision..

Well, it all depends on what you want to do with your car.
If you go F/I, then a h23 is a very good platform to boost.
VTEC becomes useless on boosted applications and might even be detramental to performance.

If I your choice now, I would personally go for a h23 with 4ws. Those are HARD to find now-a-days. And if I find one, I'd take it!
Keep the h23 it comes with if its in good condition (if you plan on F/I) or if you want, swap in a h22 or JDM h22.

The 4ws helps a bit with steering and handling, but adds some weight to your car. So if all you're doing is drag racing, then don't worry about 4ws.
