What can my stock injectors on my 97 DX go i have em at 45psi now and was wondering how much higher i could go before it blows a piston.. thanx
You don't have to worry about blowing a piston (where did you hear that).Stock injectors will work "properly up to a about 75% duty cycle or about 70-75psi of fuel. They will still work with much higher fuel pressures but they have a less then optimal spray pattern plus you run a higher risk of freezing an injector (open or closed). Some turbo kits come with a boost dependent fuel pressure regulator that raises the fuel pressure well over 100psi depending how much boost is being run and that is on stock injectors.

Pretty much.If you go extreemly high like 65+ psi at idle then you may run into other problems like washing the oil off the cylinder walls. But if you go about 5psi over stock you shouldn't have any problems.2psi is all you really need though

i have a question........how much of a difference did you notice when you put the fpr on and turned psi's up..? any difference?
Depending on what parts you have installed you won't notice to much of a difference.you will mostly feel a slight increase in driveability (smoother acceleration) unless you go overboard and run to rich.In that case all that you will accomplish would be burning more gas and a little sluggish
