I am very interested in doing some Auto-Xing. I went to the SCCA webpage and saw that they do have a place in the area and they race at Summit Point. At the end of March they are racing in the FedEx stadium? or something. It says you have to be an SCCA member but I just wanted to see if anyone in SHO was a member to see if it was worth it. I am already into drag racing but my car isn't quite running 13's. I figure I'll have more fun with the g forces of auto-x. I'll have my B16A4 swap in by beginning to mid March. Thanks everyone.

i'm a member of the Virginia Motor Sports Club, VMSC, you should check out their website, www.vmsc.org we hold autocrosses usually on sundays at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie/Petersburg, you might know of it as a drag strip but on sundays its all ours and the parking lot is huge and perfect for a autocross, its free to come and watch which by itself is alot of fun, you never know what will show up, 800hp supras, ferraris, highly modified 00' dodge viper GTS, all kinds of stuff... you can race as a non member for something like 20$ and as a member its 15$... their are loner helmets there but if you have one of your own or can borrow from a friend thats the best idea, the next upcoming one is March 24th... autocrossing is so much fun you really should try it
