x-boxes are garbage and ps3's have horrible support compared to x-box live. we can't ever win can we?

nope. Theres only three consoles to choose from, and they all suck in their own way.

yeah they each have their ups, and downs but i own 2 of the 3 and am considering a purchase of the 3rd just because i am finally getting a new TV and wouldnt mind having blu-ray capability... in all honesty its just cheaper to buy a ps3 than it is to buy a blue ray player, considering you get games, and movies with it

I'm in the same boat. I just bought coilovers, so its gonna be a while before I can get ps3, but it'll happen. Hopefully by the time they decide to lower the price.
