I have a 94 LS integra with almost 90,000 miles on it. Would turboing this engine be a bad idea? If not do you guys have any better ideas? I really want turbo but I won't be able to afford a motor swap and turbo. What do you think I should do?
Have a compression test performed. If your compression is holding up well, within 25 or so from stock, you should be alright. Take into account any odd noises that the motor may make, etc...etc...etc...
All in all, if the motor was well kept throughout its years, doesn't make any odd noises, and still has good compression numbers...you should be fine.
My SC300 has 118,000 miles on it, and I might turbocharge it if I don't drop in a Supra TT motor...
