Well, I have a few minorly cracked mounts on my CRX, and I had heard that some people use some kind of rosin epoxy to fill these in, or just strengthen existing mounts.

Anyone done this, and if you have, what type of epoxy should I use?

Any help is appreciated.

back in the day I used to use windshield caulk
but honestly, the price on energy suspension inserts are so cheap there is no excuse not to buy them

I thought about that, but I was told by several people that the epoxy rosin works better and goes in easier than ES mounts.

Your view on the inserts? Pros and cons?

The mounts that arnt completely shot, have small cracks that I can only notice if I really start flexing it, I just wanna make sure they dont get worse.

Pros, no messing with shit, they go right in, no mess on the chassis
Cons, it takes about 1 hour to do the entire motor

It will take that long even with the motor and trans out of the car?

I'd definetly go energy suspension route

rosin is for violin bows, i believe you are thinking of resin, if you were considering going that far, you could also go the hockey puck route.......
