Hi,
This is my first post so hope all goes well
I have read another thread on this topic but wasn't sure about the answer that was given, but here we go.
I just got a MSD Blaster SS coil and a MSD modified distributor cap/rotor and 10.3mm OBX wires for my 1997 base prelude.
I have read on the msd website that I need a "Coil Ballast Resistor 0.8 ohm" for the "MSD Blaster Coil when connected to a stock points ignition system."
now i know i don't have a point system ignition and do not want to get a ignition control box so I am wondering if I still need this resistor? with my upgraded msd cap and rotor would i still need it?
Any help would be very appreciated
