wonder if someone could lend me some insight here...I've got a MSD 6a Ign and was wondering if it makes any difference if I advance my timing. I've got an adj. cam gear and it's retarded a couple degrees. What combination does everyone think will work best?

the msd won't make any noticeable difference if you're engine isn't putting out some serious power, so that shouldn't be put into what you're trying to ask. try asking about (or searching) ignition and cam timing.

Increase the fuel pressure.. advance the timing with a higher grade of fuel. Then it should make a difference in the low end.
