ive heard of making your car shock people, do you actually know how to do that?? i didnt think it was possible.

hey man i know exactly how you feel, the same shit has happened to me 2 times now...there isnt much you can do cause an alarm isnt gonna stop anyone if they know what they are doing...well my insurance company has threatened to cancel me cause i am a "high threat" since i have been broken into and vandalized 3 times. this is with no other claims that were my fault...i like the battery zap idea...tell me how to do it...but maybe you shouldnt do that cause what happens if you shock yourself??? well good luck, if you find out who did it let me know, ill kick their little punk asses...

that would be pretty sweet, but how much of a shock are you talking about? If it caused damage to the criminal, he could probably take legal action against you. Or if an innocent person accidentally set it off and touched it.

if that happens just drive of quickly and wont beable to get a lawsuit.

yeah the electric thing is risky, they could file a law suit.

they used to sell this thing that would install onto your steering wheel so that, while armed, your alarm would send a warning and then send like 5000V to the bar to shock whoever was tampering with it.

as for installing a battery to shock someone, what exactly do u wire this to? how exactly would u make it so that touching the car would shock you without screwing up all the grounds in your car?

the wire idea sounds like a good idea, but its illegal. if someone were to try to break in and would get shocked, there is legal precedent for him to file a lawsuit. it happened in montana, some guy rigged a shotgun up to get whoever kept robbing his barn, he did some derious damage to the dude and went to prison for attempted murder. i would just get an alarm that sends a signal to your phone or pager.

Thats fucked up...At least they didn't take off with your whole car....Someone broke into my shit awhile back and all they took was my radio. Luckly I had lock my trunk release handle so they couldn't get to my speakers and cds

last summer someone took my 2 JL 12 W3's , , rochford amp, , lightnight audio cap, ,,, my whole collection of burned CD's, ,,, they even took the CD out of my deck , , but left me the deck, ,, it's a Sony though, ,, I probaly woulda left it to

First of all sorry to heard about your car, but your shock idea may not be a good thing. Unless the shock is strong enough to knock the person out, (in which case you have to deal with the legal issue) you will endup with a trashed ride (may even a total writeoff) instead of just missing items. Just my 2 cent.

Battery Idea

I don't know hwo to do it. Friend of mine at a stereo shop said he can do it. Then he tells me of being sued because of the same thing. So I decided to install an alarm on my house with a sensor over looking the driveway. When it goes off it will send it to a pager. Then I will come out running with my SW-45. Damn, I really liked the shock idea! the only other probelm is I moved and I can't find my receipts anywhere! So now the insurance doesn't want to pay!

well, why dont' you hook up an alternator in the back of the car connected to an extra battery in the trunk? and then connect the positive end to touch the metal of the car? and when the guy tries to break the circuit running through the metal...he'll get shocked? and the only way to disarm it is you have rubber gloves and stuff? i'm sure tat would work. or have those blow torches underneath the car so when the door opens...whoops. he'll be flaming. i saw tat in europe. those are tite. but you should put a stick on your window warning them. and if they din abide by the warning it stheir fault. i mean they jus ignored it and they can't sue you. maybe tat would work...

i dont understand how a person could sue you for getting shocked trying to break into your car... if theyre trying to break in in the first place, wouldnt that not give them the right to sue you for injury?

yea da sad part is, if dey sue, they'll most likely win too! i heard this one robber who tried to rob this house and got locked in the garage of the house .. was stuck there for a few days .. he ended up sueing the homeowners and won a good amount of money, forgot how much .. pretty fux up .....

If I could do the shock thing, it would be worth it. Let the bastard sue me. I'd go to jail for a very long time for beating the fuck out of him anyway. If you think I'm joking, try me. I don't play around when it comes to someone messing with my girlfriend or my car, especially my car.
