My poor baby got hit today. This lady didn't see my car coming and pull out and hit my car from the side. :( She's at fualt. Now I wondering if her insurance will be enough to cover a jdm front end?

Most insurance companies these days will only make out the check to the company doing the repairs, and they want a certified copy of the repair order, with part numbers and man hours. If you know someone who has a shop, then they may help you out, but they also have adjusters to check up on that kind of sheot. i wish you luck, you may want to check with your states Insurance Commisioners Office, and see just what rights you have......My good friend just wrecked his 98 Teg, and they wouldn't even let him get it fixed at the dealer, thay said the dealer would overprice their work, and he would have to pay the difference. They wouldn't even use factory new parts!!! They also only gave him $1000 for his accessories, and he had to get a new Intercooler, Front bumper cover(non-factory), and some other stuff. We checked with the Commisioners Office, and it was all within the insurance companies rights to do all of that. Florida is a piss poor state for insurance.
I know in Ca, they would use oem parts. I forsure i can take it to any shop i want.
hey groovemaster... does he have full coverage?
its different with all insurance companies, my friends teg got hit and basicly went to a pricey body shop got his estimates, insurance wrote the check and he got JDM conversion out of it, so just check with your insurance company and see what your options are...good luck
well my bumper is mess up on the side, need a new fender, right rim is mess up, need to check my alaiment, door has scratches and dent's, so does the rest of the right side, and mess up clear corner. A lot of paint is missing. Does that include a new paint job?

Will all those oem part's and labor add up to jdm front end or not?
JDM front end cost anywhere from 2000-3000, and dont forget it needs to be painted also, insurance company will probably give u enough to cover the damages to the right side, but it will probably not be enough to cover the whole JDM conversion
I have more then enough money for the jdm front end. I just have enough for labor. Labor alone to fix my car is 1500. How much does it cost to paint a car? I mean the whole car.
i want a JDM conversion, but labor alone to paint it would rape me in the ass
same thing happened to me..

and yes it says ouch in white out on my door..
