my buddys civic probs...

my buddy has a 00' civic ex and it pops out of 2nd and when he speed shifts into 3rd the gears grind.. what could be the problem?

synchros might be broken... does he misshift often?

he doesnt miss shift often at all

Check the shift linkage to make sure the bolts are tight and the bushings are ok.
