my car is f$%ked and now my day sucks

so its about 8:30 in this little suburban town and im out and leaving for work... no more than i am 5 minutes on the road in the right hand lane and traveling at a normal speed than do i decide to change lanes, i look out my window and look straight thats when i see a blazer stopped dead in front of me... so i say fuck it and hit the brakes... since the blazer is above my bumper it goes right for my radiator and takes out everything with it... so i lost my projector headlights.... my front bumper and my hood.. its all crushed.. so im sad but im going to make it work.. i need some suggestion for front end, headlights and carbon fiber hood or clear.. if u know of good places with good prices online please let me know... i need this.. its my chance at building my car up

Opposed to what???? Hitting the gas!!! I know what you meant, but the way you worded it was like you were debating on whether or not to hit him.

Sorry to hear about your car though. Go for a carbon fiber hood...They look sweet.

He was obviously too close when he relized what was going to happen. What kind of question is that anyway? Duh!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Least the airbags didn't go off. I say a carbon hood, Tsunami front bumper...or go back to the stock with the Tsunami lip.

seriously though.. the blazer was all of 10 feet in front of me and i wasnt going to be able to stop no matter what so all i could do was lock up the wheels and go screaming in... but again im gonna make this work for me... time to get the new front end setup... oh happy day

One of the reasons why there are so many accidents is because people don't try to steer clear of the object in front of them. Smashing on the brakes doesn't always mean you can avoid the car in front of you, it just reduces the speed at which you hit them.

I've found that if you can't steer out of the way that turning the wheels side to side will reduce your braking distance.

sure you can swerve side to side while braking thatll reduce your stopping distance... its even more fun when you induce a spin.

my friend spun a FWD

We went to Mexico to race some imports that had been talking s**t and after it was all over (there were 2 cars that we took... It's a bumpy ride!) we were racing back. We took a video camera with us to film the racing, but we didn't catch the spin on film. I was in the slower car, escort, and the faster car, saturn, took off ahead of us. We were following at 120mph, when we had to stop suddenly to avoid hitting the saturn. It was at night, and there was a blind turn that you couldn't hardly see, and his car was facing the right of the street. All 3 of the people in the car were severly shaken up, and sweared that they almost wrecked. He was hitting 140 when he came up to a turn which was rated at about 55, so he went into the other lane, and started to spin. He did a little more than a 360, since he was facing the right of the road, and almost ran into a canal. They were freaked out beyond belief, and they had good reason to be. He now drives a bit over the limit, but certainly not at 140mph.
P.S. ---do not try this at home. It is very dangerous.

if you want a used carbon fiber hood, i can get one really cheap. my boy had a rear end collision. it fits only 99-00 civics. let me know my man.

your chance at building your car up huh? thats funny, did you not realize that YOU rear-ended HIM, that means your insurance rates go sky high, have fun paying that shit. i feel bad for you- anyway, please dont get a clear hood, PLEASE, they are SO WACK...ideally, get a CF hood from fiber images ($500), REAL ctr headlamps($500), and a REAL C West front bumper ($550)- that is all serious shit, fuck that projector headlight/clear hood shit. take my advice and have a sweet lookin car, PEACE
